Nieuwbouw Sluisweg 1972

After years of working from the home address at Nieuweweg 101 in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, an office with garage was moved into the nearby industrial estate in 1955.

At the time, maintenance work was done six days a week for a weekly wage of 104 guilders; overtime was not paid. Teus Boerman introduced a system of periodic and preventive maintenance and provided the right equipment to carry out that maintenance adequately.

In the early 1970s, the site on Nieuweweg became too small and a large plot of land on Sluisweg across the A15 motorway was purchased. The base of the current office was built on this land. Over the years, the building was enlarged several times to its current size.
